I'm guessing the dreams have something to do with Sango's labor. She and her unborn baby might almost die but then I think Kagome has something to do with saving them..... About Shippo trying to handle Tetsusaiga.. he actually held in in the anime. It was said that the tetsusaiga didn't reject him because he had absolutely zero I'll will towards humans... But I see why you may have changed that for the fic, so that he can also get a weapon of his own or be able to hold the Tetsusaiga if need be.
