Inu Yasha slowed his pace as he reached the clearing. He saw Kikyou standing on the opposite side, looking off to the right, with her back turned slightly toward him. The wind rustled through her hair, causing it to flutter across her ivory skin. Her eyes were locked on the distant horizon as though she were deep in thought.
