    So, the tetsusaiga is still effective against hanyou's. Even ones that aren't evil. It is mentioned in a few episodes. the one episode where Inuyasha was supposed to kill the little hanyou girl using the tetsusaiga because that would make the sword stronger. Myoga and totosai told him he had to do it. But he chose not to and ended up destroying the powerful artifact she protected which in turn made the sword stronger. So his tetsusaiga not only is effective against evil hanyou such as Naraku, but it would even kill a defenseless hanyou child if he chose to.
